General Information

Registration Form:  Please send an email to DATIC's email address and complete a form (click here to get the form) in order to reserve a place.  Alternatively the form can be FAXed to David A. Kenny at 860 486-2760.  It is this form, not an email or letter, that holds the spot.

Description: Instruction consists of a week-long workshop consisting of lecture, computer workshops, and individualized consultations.  The emphasis is the practical and not the statistical, but those seeking more statistical information can arrange a specialized session.  We keep the number of participants small and have two instructors and a teaching assistant to allow for participation and individual consultation.  Participants are encouraged to bring their own data and to contact the staff beforehand so that the data are in a format appropriate for the specialized software.

A testimonials page is being prepared.

Dress code is casual. Sometimes because of weather changes, the instruction rooms can be cool and we encourage participants to bring a sweater or a light jacket.

Enquiries: Send an e-mail.

Schedule: 9AM until 4:30PM each day, except Friday when the workshop ends at noon with a lunch.  There is an optional opening reception on Sunday at 6:00PM before the workshop starts.

Location: University of Connecticut, Storrs, Connecticut USA (Nearest Airport: Hartford/Springfield Bradley International Airport)
DATIC provides Sunday pickup (from 11AM to 9PM) and Friday afternoon dropoff at no charge.  Some participants prefer to rent a car to give them more options for housing, meals, and other activities.
